Welcome to Macintosh Support

Our goal at SurfBest is to provide you with fast, trouble-free internet service - all at a low price. Should you have any troubles setting up your PowerPC Macintosh (older 680X0 Macs are not supported), the following guides will walk you through the appropriate steps for every major Mac OS and the major internet applications. If you still have questions, we have provided FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions - for you to find answers to the most common problems. We also have provided links to the major internet software websites, as well as links to important downloadable files. If you still find yourself confused or have any other questions, feel free to contact SurfBest and we'll try and reply as soon as possible!

Getting Started

• Select your Macintosh's Operating System (Mac OS). If you don't know your OS, go to the Finder - your Mac's desktop - and select "About This Computer" from the Apple menu - the leftmost menu.

• The first number of your OS is the key. Even though Mac OS 7.5.3 is vastly improved over OS 7.0, they're grouped here for simplicity.

(Remark: Some common OS's are 7.5.3, 8.6 and 9.1. These fall under OS 7, OS 8 and OS 9 respectively.)

• When you have determined your OS, select the link from below to go to that support page:
